Manager of Strategic Initiatives

Job Description:

The primary duties of AdhereTech's Business Analyst will be four-fold:

  1. Assist in managing existing key customer accounts, including reporting and conversational responsibilities
  2. Drive data insights for customers
  3. Collaborate with business, hardware, and software teams to support existing and new products
  4. Advance AdhereTech’s business development efforts across all sectors

 

As with any growth stage firm, the role will expand and evolve over time. Additionally, most of AdhereTech's product and strategy decisions are made as a team, and this role will have a real influence on the direction of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage deliverables for existing customers, including driving account management efforts
  • Assist and drive insights for customers using AdhereTech's proprietary datasets
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives within the areas of both specialty pharma and clinical trials
  • Co-own operational responsibilities for products and goods sent to customers for sales needs
  • Review and create relevant business development materials
  • Manage outbound sales leads, including follow-ups and constant improvements to the current sales process
  • Execute on research projects to collect useful information about potential opportunities, as requested by the CEO & Head of Product and Strategy
  • Provide thoughtful and actionable feedback to all areas of the company

 

Qualifications:

  • Consulting or banking experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years experience preferred
  • Personality traits: enthusiastic, analytical, hard-working, creative, and open-minded
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience and/or interest in early-stage and/or growth-stage firms
  • Ability to both work well on a team - and to self-manage in a less-defined role
  • Must be able to work with the full AdhereTech team at our company offices in Manhattan (not counting business-related travel, of course). We are not seeking remote or part-time hires.
